« 83 † Now, He was thoroughly identified as Messiah. They should have know it. We know what Messiah was supposed to be. He was supposed to be a Prophet. That's what the Bible said He was. That's what He said He was. "I the Son of man, Who do you say I the Son of man am?" Always identify Himself as the Prophet age, identify Himself as God's Prophet. That's what He was.

84 But He was more than a prophet. He was the God-Prophet. What David was, what Moses was, what Elijah was, what all of it was, "in Him dwelt the fullness of the Godhead bodily." He was the God-Prophet. He was God, Jehovah, became a flesh in His Own Son, raised Hisself up a tabernacle to manifest Hisself in. All the rest of them failed, they had flaws; but there is no flaw in Him. Even God Himself said, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am pleased to dwell in." That's right, no flaw in Him. "Hear ye Him!" He was manifested God.

85 They said, "You make Yourself God, or equal with God." He was. He was His Own Son. Amen. He had... He was the manifestation of God. God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself.

« E-29 † Get it? "Upon whom thou shall see," revelation. John. Didn't say the audience. John bare record, seeing the Spirit of God. John was anointed; John was given the privilege to introduce Him. John was the only one that knew anything about it. For it was given to John alone. And he bare record, said, "I saw the Spirit of God descending like a Dove. And It went upon Him, and a Voice speaking from this Dove, saying "This is My beloved Son, in whom I'm well pleased; hear ye Him." Oh, my, there you are: spiritual revealed truth. Nobody else saw it. Or the Scripture doesn't declare it if they did. But John bare record.

59-0404 WHAT.IS.THE.WORKS.OF.GOD_ LOS.ANGELES.CA SATURDAY_

« E-20 † Now, when Jesus made Hisself known to the Jew... Let's just look into the Scripture and see what He did to the Jew to make Himself known as the Messiah. I was reading out of the book of Saint John. Let's just take Saint John, the 1st chapter. And as we read, we find out after He was tempted in the wilderness, came out, He was anointed with the Holy Spirit, was in Him. "John bare record, seeing God descending out of heaven like a dove, a voice saying, 'This is My beloved Son in Whom I'm pleased to dwell in.'" And He dwelt in Christ. God, Jehovah, the Father dwelt in His Son Jesus Christ, tabernacled there, manifesting Himself, showing the world what He was.

That's the reason His disciples couldn't understand Him. They say, "You speak in riddles." It was sometime Jesus speaking, sometime the Father speaking.

« 140 † They've had now... In order to do that they had to get something to go with it. In order to do that they tried to say, "God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost." Now, absolutely, there's no such a thing. It's not three Gods. That's heathenism. There's three offices of the same God.

The Fatherhood... When God dwelt alone, holy; His Laws, His righteousness makes Him holy. He wanted to be in man; He wanted to worship with man. He wanted man to worship Him. He had to come to man. And then when He did, He created, overshadowed a little virgin named Mary (God Jehovah did.), and created in her womb a cell, Blood cell. That Blood cell developed cells, and was brought forth a Man, which was Christ Jesus. God Almighty, the Father, dwelt in Him.

At the day of the baptism, when He received the Holy Ghost on the day when John baptized Him, John said, "I beheld and saw the Spirit of God like a Dove descending from heaven, and a Voice saying, 'This is My beloved Son in Whom I'm pleased to dwell in.'" Jesus said that God was with Him, "I and My Father are One. My Father dwells in Me." Not Jesus, and being one with God; but Je--God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself.

59-0823 PALMERWORM.LOCUST.CANKERWORM.CATERPILLAR_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-14 N-1 SUNDAY_

« 143 † And you Oneness brethren, many of you get off the wrong track when you try to think that God is one like your finger is one. He can't be His Own Father. He can't be.

But He is God. God is Jehovah, the Spirit; Christ was the House that He dwelt in. And then He sacrificed this life, and when He did, He gave up the Spirit. And through this unadulterated Blood that He shed, He sanctified me, that He might come Hisself and dwell in me and in you. And God is with us; that's the Holy Ghost, which is the same, very same God, Jehovah God. "I'll be with you, even in you, to the end of the world. And the things that I do, shall you do also."

There's where the caterpillars begin to eat, and the cankerworms, trying to make God the Father setting in glory, God the Son setting upon some right hand He's got.

61-0118 JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME.YESTERDAY.TODAY.AND.FOREVER_ BEAUMONT.TX WEDNESDAY_

« E-39 † Let's go back now to Saint John the 1st chapter, and find out what He was. We're reading in Saint John, and we could go back here to the--the 1st chapter of Saint John and we read this. Now, let's start at the beginning of His life and take a few verses here. And then the first thing you know... Tomorrow night we'll pick up some more, and just keep finding what He is as we go along.

But being that we haven't got but just about twelve, fourteen more minutes before we start the prayer line, let's think of what He was yesterday. Now, we find Him here in Saint John.

Like all the other Gospels begin, we find Him at His birth, and we know how mysterious that was--that He was the Son of God, the very Seed of the woman promised in the garden of Eden. And then we find out that at the age of thirty He was baptized in the river of Jordan by John the Baptist.

And when He was baptized, going straightway out of the water, we find that the Holy Spirit, God, like in a form of a dove, coming from heaven in a voice, saying, "This is My beloved Son in Whom I'm pleased to dwell." And the right translation of that, "Who I am pleased to dwell in," 'cause God was in Christ.

61-0119A THE.WATER.BAPTISM_ BEAUMONT.TX THURSDAY_

« E-56 † The Spirit of God, like a dove, descended and a voice from heaven (which was above Him) saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am pleased to dwell." (Really, the right translation... They got the verb before the adverb, like all the foreigner is... "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am pleased to dwell in." Or, "Whom I am pleased to dwell." "In Whom I am pleased to dwell." ) That was God coming into Jesus, and in Him was the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And there's your Father, Son and Holy Ghost: in the name of Jesus Christ.

Sure. Do you get it? There's no, there's no place in the Bible speaks of three being... three gods. There's no such a thing. It's absolutely pagan. It come from pagan. Yes. Well, sure it's just as, it's just as bottomless as hell is. See? There's no such a thing. What say? [Someone says, "Billy Graham needs that."--Ed.] Well, he wouldn't...

61-0218 BALM.IN.GILEAD_ LONG.BEACH.CA SATURDAY_

« E-57 † You know, as I said, when doctors wants to try their toxin, they squirt it into a guinea pig and see how he acts. But you know, when God brought His Toxin down, He didn't put it in a guinea pig, He put it in His Son, Hisself. He made Hisself a body; you believe that? He overshadowed the virgin Mary and created Himself a body, changed His cast from God Jehovah to a Man here on earth to express Hisself to a body. And He didn't give it to a guinea pig. And I want to straighten some of this here social doctrine out that they call that He was just a prophet. He never give it to a prophet. He give it to Hisself. Any good doctor will try his own medicine out, see if it works.

Jesus give it to Himself. He was baptized on the Jordan with the Holy Ghost. John bare record, seeing the Spirit of God like a dove descending upon Him, a Voice saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Who I am pleased to dwell in." They watched it. When He was tempted, the toxin held. When He was smite in the face, it held. When He was riled upon, He spoke not back. When they put a rag around His head and hit Him on the head with a stick and said, "If you're a prophet, now tell us who hit you," the toxin held. When they pulled beard out of His face and spit in His face, and drunken soldiers, hawked and spit in His face and pulled handfuls of beard, it held. On Calvary it held. Hallelujah. In the hour of death it held. When He died it held. When His soul ascended into hell, it held.

61-0409 SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_ BLOOMINGTON.IL SUNDAY_

« E-33 † Now, we'll notice, the first thing we'll take in Saint John 1, we find out that there was a man by the name of Simon. And he had a brother named Andrew. They were fishermen. Now, listen close. Don't miss this. So Andrew, perhaps, talked to Simon, after he'd been down to the meeting and seen the Holy Spirit descending like a dove upon the Lord Jesus, this great Light coming down from heaven, like had wings, and lit upon Him, and a Voice saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I'm pleased to dwell."...

61-0425E THE.FORGOTTEN.BEATITUDE_ CHICAGO.IL TUESDAY_

« E-29 † Now, but when this Messiah finally came, when Messiah finally came, and John had the honor of baptizing Him... He came just--just exactly right. All the signs was right. He showed the Messiahic sign, and John knowed that, that He was the Messiah. That's the Messiah. There's no doubt about it. John said, "I saw that Pillar of Fire, Light coming down upon Him in the form of a dove, a Voice speaking from that Pillar of Light, saying, 'This is My Beloved Son in Whom I am pleased to dwell in.'"

He knew that was the Messiah. John said, "I didn't know Him, but He that was in the wilderness, said for me to go baptize with water; said, 'Upon whom thou shall see the Spirit descending and remaining on, He's the One that'll baptize with the Holy Ghost and Fire.' And I'm sure this is Him." So he blasted it out.

61-0827 THE.MESSAGE.OF.GRACE_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-13 N-3 SUNDAY_

« 196 † Now, let's see what Jesus was among us, see what He was back there. We find out when He first started His ministry... Now, listen close, stranger. When He first started His ministry, in St. John the 1st chapter we found out after He was baptized, after He come... He was born and become thirty years old; He was baptized by John. The Holy Spirit came down like a dove and descended on Him, and a Voice came and said, "This is My beloved Son in Whom..." The real original Greek said, "In Whom I'm pleased to dwell in." Said, "In Whom I'm pleased, in Whom--in Whom I am pleased to dwell." But see, that sounds a little backwards from us, and the verb before the adverb, but actually it's, "Whom I'm pleased to dwell in." 'Cause Christ, God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. We know that.

61-1112 A.TRUE.SIGN.THAT'S.OVERLOOKED_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-6 N-2 SUNDAY_

« 172 † Them Pharisees and Sadducees stood out there and argued about their coats and things. Right while they were arguing and fussing about it, right into the midst of them come the Messiah walking. John said, "Behold, there He is." Hallelujah.

Watch him. He hadn't introduced Him. "There He is. He's standing right among you now." About that time, the heavens roared, Jesus walked into the water, and John bare record, seeing 'the Spirit of God like a dove coming down, a Voice screaming "This is My beloved Son in Whom I'm pleased to dwell in." Oh, my, my.

John said, "Now, I must decrease; He'll increase." Oh, what a prophet. A sign to Israel. Yes, sir.

62-0128M UNBELIEF.DOES.NOT.HINDER.GOD_ PHOENIX.AZ SUNDAY_

« E-32 † As I said somewhere not long ago in one of the meetings, maybe here, that John was so sure that was Jesus... Even before he saw the sign of the Messiah, that dove, God descending from Heaven in the form of a dove, the Holy Spirit coming out of Heaven, Voice saying, "This is My beloved Son..." That was what he was supposed to see. The Father told him that in the wilderness. "Upon Whom thou shall see the Spirit..." But John was so sure.

They asked him, said, "Aren't you that Messiah? Are--aren't--aren't you the... that prophet was to come? Aren't you this and that?"

He said, "I'm not." But said, "There's One standing among you now." See, he knew the time was so close until there--that One was already in the midst of the people, because he was to introduce Him, and he knew that He was there.

62-0627 WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_ SANTA.MARIA.CA WEDNESDAY_

« E-37 † We know now He was born of the virgin. At the age of--of thirty years old He was baptized by John the baptizer; went into the wilderness, and was tempted of the devil for forty days and nights, and came out and started His ministry. The first thing we notice after He come out, well, John saw a sign over Him like a light. A form of a Dove came down from heaven, and a voice coming from that form of Dove (the Spirit of God), a voice coming from the Spirit of God, which the--the Dove was the Spirit of God, saying, "This is My beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased." Now, that's the--the King James version. Now, in the original version is something the same thing. It says, "in whom I'm pleased to dwell in," and God dwelt in Christ. We know that.

He said, "It's not Me that doeth the works. It's My Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works." St. John 5:19, He said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing in himself, but what He sees the Father doing: that doeth the Son likewise."

62-0724 SIR.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_ PORT.ALBERNI.BC TUESDAY_

« E-47 † Now, remember. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. Is that right? All right. "Not Me," said Jesus, "doeth the works: but My Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works." Now, if you're putting Scriptures down, Saint John 5:19, Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doing: that doeth the Son likewise." Now, remember, not what He hears the Father saying, but what He sees the Father doing.

Therefore, Jesus never did nothing until God showed Him by a vision what to do first. If He didn't, the Scripture's wrong. Saint John 5:19 said, "Verily, I say unto you (that means absolutely), I say unto you, The Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doing: that doeth the Son likewise; for the Father worketh, and I worketh hitherto." In other words, He just acted out in drama what God, the Father, showed Him to do, because God was in Christ.

Now, Matthew 3, it said, "This is My beloved Son," when He was coming down, a voice speaking from that, God, that was coming down like a dove. John bare record seeing it. And a voice come from it, saying, "This is My beloved Son in Whom, in Whom I am pleased to dwell." And if I was going to make it so you'd understand it better, that the early translators in King James... If you get the original Greek, it reads like this: "This is My beloved Son in Whom I'm pleased to dwell in." But you see, it's the same thing. "In whom I'm pleased to dwell." See? "I am pleased to dwell in My Son." Then He became Emmanuel, God with us.

63-0126 INVESTMENTS_ PHOENIX.AZ SATURDAY_

« 199 † And now--now, John, who was looking for Him, saw the God's sign coming down. "Jehovah, the God speaking with a Voice, and in the shape of a dove, lighting upon Him, and the Voice saying, 'This is My beloved Son in Whom I'm pleased to dwell in.'" "In Whom I'm pleased to dwell," the same way, just turn the verb before the adverb. See? Now, "'In Whom I'm pleased to dwell in, or pleased to--to be dwelling in.' He, He has satisfied Me. He's did just what I--I know that He should--He should do, and what I said that He would do." Now, and when Peter standing, or I mean...

200 Andrew, standing there, he saw that. So he saw Jesus the next day, said, "Rabbi, where dwellest Thou?"

He said, "Come, see."

201 So then he went and told his brother. After staying with Him all night, the next morning he was fully persuaded that That was Messiah. And the next morning, he went to get his brother. And he brought him, said, "Come on. We found the Messiah."

63-0324M QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.ON.THE.SEALS_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN SUNDAY_

« 168 † What is the Name of God? What is the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost? The Bible said Jesus was His Name. Then the fellow here trying to debate it once here in the Tabernacle, said, "Brother Branham has wiggled out of all of them; he won't this one." Said, "here it shows three different persons exactly, perfectly." Said, "Matthew, 3rd chapter, here was John standing, preaching. Here come the Son walking up to be baptized. He went into the water, and was baptized by John, went back up out of the water, and 'Lo,' he said, 'the heavens was opened unto Him,' and he said, 'down from heaven came the Holy Ghost like a dove descending, and a voice from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Whom...'" Three distinct persons right at one time." Oh, my.

63-0324M QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.ON.THE.SEALS_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN SUNDAY_

« 169 † You know, It just goes to show that people without the baptism, and not called to the office of--of a--a minister has no business to be in the pulpit. That's right. I--I--I could take that person, now, by the help of God and tie them in such a knot it'd make their head swim. Look, I don't care what... (Now, I don't mean... Now, that don't sound right. Forgive me. I didn't mean that, Lord; I didn't now... I--I felt Him check me on that. See? So I didn't mean to say it that way. I'm--I'm sorry.) I believe that the Holy Spirit could reveal to that person some secret; that sounds better. See?

Just like tuning an instrument, when you do something wrong, you can tell it as a Christian. You said something wrong; He didn't like that. See, that was putting me in there. See? I ain't in the picture at all. I'm just--don't even want to be myself or nothing; it's Him. Let Him do the work. He does the sounding; the trumpet's a mute. The voice behind it, one that gives it the sound.

63-0324M QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.ON.THE.SEALS_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN SUNDAY_

« 171 † Now, looky here. The man misinterpreted the Word. See? Remember, it's hid from the eyes of wise and prudent, revealed to babes. Now, here is that one Person, Jesus Christ, standing on earth. Now heaven, 'course, is atmospheres above.

Now watch. And John bear record... Now that man's got, say here's God the Father, and here's God the Holy Ghost, like a dove, and here's God the Son, making three persons. It's wrong. John, standing back here, knowed this was the Lamb.

John said, "I bear record seeing the Spirit of God like a Lamb." There's God the Spirit... Like a dove, I mean. (Now, there's the same thing I said the other night. You see?, instead of seven hundred, seven... See?) The Spirit of God--this was the Lamb here. And the Spirit of God--the Dove was God. The Spirit of God descending from heaven, and a voice from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son in Whom I am pleased to dwell in." "All powers in heaven and earth is given unto My hand." See? That's Him. Now what was His Name? [Congregation answers, "Jesus"--Ed.] Certainly. See?

63-0324M QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.ON.THE.SEALS_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN SUNDAY_

« 174 † So, as far as the trinitarian's theory of being three different gods, that's heathenism. That never was taught in the Bible. It never was taught in the Lion message, but it was adopted in the next, which was antichrist. Ask anybody you want to, any theologian. That never did come only through the doctrine of the Nicolaitane.

There is why it come out with Martin Luther. That's why it continued on with John Wesley and poured on down into the Pentecostals. In the day that the Pentecostal come out, they got the Jesus Only group. Now, that's wrong again. How can Jesus be His own Father? See? So it knocks that out.

63-0804E CALLING.JESUS.ON.THE.SCENE_ CHICAGO.IL V-21 N-8 SUNDAY_

« 37 † Remember, in flesh He was just a man, but in Spirit He was God. But, a man in flesh, therefore His body was a human being that was subject to temptations, subject to sicknesses, and just the same as ours; as He had to put on, be a--a Man, a human. And then He was God, in the Spirit. He said, "I and My Father are One. My Father dwelleth in Me."

38 When John baptized Him on the river, Jordan, we see God descending from Heaven like a dove, and the Voice saying, "This is My beloved Son in Whom I am pleased to dwell." Now if you take the original, and really the way it's wrote, it's, "Whom I am pleased to dwell in." See? But they put the verb before the adverb. "In Whom I am pleased to dwell, or, in Whom I am pleased to dwell; Whom I'm pleased to dwell in." See?

63-1229E LOOK.AWAY.TO.JESUS_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-2 N-17 SUNDAY_

« 227 † John the Baptist looked away one day, and, when he did, he saw a Dove; and a Voice, saying, "This is My beloved Son in Whom I'm pleased to dwell in." That's what he saw. Then, he saw Jesus and God being the same Person, 'cause the Spirit come down from Heaven like a Dove, saying, "This is My beloved Son in Whom I am pleased to dwell." That's what he saw. Notice, He identifies Himself in that way.

228 Noah, when he looked away to see Him, Noah saw the just judgments of God coming upon a people of this world who had rejected His Word. That's what Noah said when he looked away.

229 Moses, when he looked away, he saw a bush on fire. A Pillar of Fire had brought Itself back into a bush, and, when Moses drawed close to It, He said, "Take off your shoes, for, 'I AM.'" Now, if you would weigh that word, "I AM," it's past tense, present tense, and future tense. "I AM," Eternal! See? "I AM," he saw the "I AM." That's what he saw in the burning bush.

64-0206B PARADOX_ BAKERSFIELD.CA V-22 N-5 THURSDAY_

« 200 † The virgin birth was a paradox; a virgin conceive, bring forth a Child. God, made flesh; God changed His strand from--from Spirit, to become Man. Man change... He changed His tent, His dwelling place, and tabernacle.

201 When Jesus was standing there, and upon the shores of Galilee, John looked up and he saw the Spirit of God, like a dove, descending, and a Voice saying, "This is My beloved Son in Whom I am pleased to dwell in." "In Whom I am pleased to dwell," the same thing; verb before the adverb, is all, see. See? "This is My beloved Son in Whom I am pleased to dwell in." God and man becoming one, uniting together for redemption. How God, that covered all space and time, could come down and bottle Himself into a Man, so He could taste death for all the human race! The Creator, dying, to save His creation.

202 Heavens and earth kissed each other, man and God became one (how can a man?) there, that He might dwell in man and fellowship. It's nothing but God condescending, trying to get to His man.

64-0313 THE.VOICE.OF.THE.SIGN_ BEAUMONT.TX FRIDAY_

« 99 † One day he saw a young Man coming, walking down. He saw that Pillar of Fire, in the form of a Dove, coming down from Heaven; a Voice, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I'm pleased to dwell in." Says, "Whom I'm pleased to dwell," it's just the verb before the adverb, so it's just the same. "In Who I'm pleased to dwell," or, "in Whom I'm pleased to dwell," makes no difference. Notice, "I'm pleased to dwell in Him."

100 John said, "I bear record that He that told me in the wilderness,"
