God's Timepiece for Mankind and Lifecycles.

No articles is complete on history without first linking all events with the timepiece God has provided. What is a timepiece? A timepiece can be a watch, a clock or even the Sun dial of Ahaz as in this verse:

Isa 38:8

(8) Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.

Again, when Joshua needed extra time to complete the battle when God delivered his army from the Amorites, their enemy, that he commanded the Sun to stand still upon Gibeon and the Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the bible recorded there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord harkened unto the voice of a man.

Jos 10:12
(12)  Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

Jos 10:14
(14)  And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.

What can God not do? After all He stop the Red Sea and also the River Jordan when its bank were flooded for His people to cross on dry land.

A timepiece is a chronology of events and it can only go forward and not backwards but in the case of Isaiah, God did the impossible. We learned than it is God who set this timepiece for mankind and He had chosen the Nation of Israel as the centre stage because the Messiah was born in Bethlehem as prophesied by the same prophet Isaiah:-

Isa 7:14, 15

(14) Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

(15) Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

But you may want to ask, Bro Peter, that is not from the beginning, so how can Israel be God's timepiece? Well, Jesus did have His origin in Genesis. He was that Tree of Life, or Bread of Life. It means He is the originator of Life and the giving of the same Life. John's gospel make this very clear. He was the Word made manifest and the Light of the World. In HIM (emphasied IN) was Life and the Life was the light of men.  (John 1:4).

In  Gen 3:15, He was the seed of the woman, the promised Son, the second man or the Last Adam who shall strike the head of the serpent (read Satan in this context) with His heel.

1Co 15:45-47
(45)  And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
(46)  Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
(47)  The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven

In Abraham, Isaac was the natural seed, but Jesus Christ is the Royal Seed, the Spiritual seed. In the gospels of Mathew and Luke, both the Royal Line and the Legal Line were enumerated. The Royal Line from David's son Solomon ends in Joseph, the husband of Mary and the Legal line from David through his other son Nathan ends with Mary whose natural father was reckoned to be Heli, the father in law of Joseph. Most likely, Heli might not have sons hence had Mary married amongst the Tribe as were the daughters of Zelophehad. Notice on the two genealogies accounted in Mathew and Luke that Mathew started from Abraham, the father of Faith and Luke goes back all the way from Mary to Adam, the first man. Isn't this the truthful and complete record of the history of man!

Jesus was, IS rather;  because He is always presence, the Logos that proceedereth from Eternity, before time begins. Before there was even time as we know it today, whether you are using measuring units of the revolutions of the earth around the sun or the distance galaxies with visages just barely visible to the astronomical telescope measured in light years. This measurement in light years is technically a unit of length measurement rather than a unit of time. To me that is a paradox, how we even can measure distances by light striking the Earth from billions and billions of miles away. A light year would be the speed of light which is 186,000 miles per second (or approximately 300,000 kilometers per second multiplied by the total number of seconds in a year which is 60 x 60 x 24 x 365 (365.25 if you want to be precise) and the maths is just crazy 

Traveling through space would be entering into this unknown. Did you know, the prophet spoke on this bending of the Light and on Cosmic Rays which scientists say are scaler energy! Ionized gaseous wavelengths are produced when Light strike. What we know today as astronomical science may be debunked in future because there is no straight line to travel but we could be moving in arcs and revolutions or wave energy.

  68      New York, last week, I was listening at a message quoted, or said by Einstein, the great scientist, the--the what is called the brain of the--of the time. And I was... heard that. Then I went to hear Norman Vincent Peale, on his psychology about how people should do, or walk, and project themselves into psychology.
Then, on Einstein, he was speaking of a galaxy that was out between the system there, out from stars. And if a person could travel at the speed, I believe he said, of light,... Now, I think, what is that,... eighty-six thousand? [Brother Neville says, "Hundred and eighty-six."--Ed.] Hundred, hundred and eighty-six thousand miles per second, that light travels. And now break that down in five minutes, how many millions and billions of miles you'd be. And a--a hundred and twenty million years of light-time it would take you to get to that galaxy. And then a hundred and twenty, or a hundred and fifty million years; a hundred and fifty millions over, and a hundred and fifty million back.
69    And they hit something that stumped them. And they, after going out there and coming back, you would actually take you three million years to make the trip, three hundred million years. Three hundred million years to make the trip, and, when you come back to the earth, actually you've only been gone fifty years. You break into Eternity. There is no end to It.

Consider how the seven angels came from Eternity to appear in Sunset Mountain, Maricopa Valley, Phoenix, Arizona, on the 8^th of March 1963 to commission the prophet to preach the seven seals, a mystery held since the time of John the Revelator. How much of  the distance did they travel and how long (how fast is more correct)? Has earth's time even any meaning to these Angels as the bible declared one day of God's creation time is equal to one thousand years of earth time. No wonder He could bend time backward ten degrees.

Well let's get back on our subject before I stray into too much details over the minuscule (the astronomical science that aren't) and overrun the major point that is truly relevant to our day, What is it? It is  the final curtain for Mankind. Isn't that more important to think about, to ponder and reflect the signs of the times. Considering the fragility of a man's life on earth. Job knew this and asked the question :-

Job 14:7-10
(7)  For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
(8)  Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;
(9)  Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.
(10)  But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?

You know, when you crossed a certain age and suddenly see pictures of familiar faces published in full blown pages in the local newspaper in the obituary columns,  you get a sense of so young, so soon, a flower nipped off before it could fully bloom. A candle in the wind as spoken of Marilyn Monroe and the Lady Diana Spencer. That is our mortality, a reminder of how we have strayed from God's Love towards us. An unlimited, unconditional and all compassing divine Love.

Of a truth, if we want to know what time is it, we look at our watches. But if we want to know what time are we in for all mankind, we have to look at how God deal with Israel as a Nation, not as an individual Jew. Israel has been God's timepiece since the time after the great flood. Eight souls came through the waters and from the 3 sons of Noah, the Earth was repopulated, hence we are all from One Blood.

Act 17:26
(26)  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

We find God chose Abraham to begin the pilgrimage back to the City whose builder and maker is God. Abraham became the wandering pilgrim until he came to the land of Canaan where he purchased the grounds for burying his dead.

Gen 23:17
(17)  And the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the borders round about, were made sure

Later Jacob added to this purchase late in Gen 33:19 for his abode, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father for an hundred pieces of money. We saw how Jacob fled Shechem after Levi and Simeon took revenge for Shechem's inpropriety in humbing their Sister Dinah by force without first seeking the consent from her father for her hand in marriage.

So we followed the history of these patriachs till the great famine when all of Israel came to sojourn in Egypt during the time of Joseph, who saved Egypt with the Mighty Hand of God. They came to lived in the most fertile delta of the River Nile, one of the four great rivers mentioned in Genesis. God had told Abraham that his seed would be entreated evily by these people and He shall deliver the Hebrew children after four hundred years and that was when Moses was born to be that leader, a one man invasion of the greatest army of that time, Pharoah and his army of chariots. Moses was adopted to be the son of Pharoah's sister and his own mother even got paid by the Princess for nursing the baby till he was ready to be taught all the way of the Egyptians. It was said that the great sculptor and painter, Michael Angelo strike the image he had created of Moses (see photo to the right), because it was so vivid to his own vision of how Moses looks like, that he almost thought he could make the statue come to live. The years rolled by.....

So when God finally brought the Israelites back to the land of Canaan, He gave them His promise that as long as they observed all His instructions, commandments, statutes and law, they will enjoy all blessings from Him. God foretold of their disobedience by giving them the Song of Moses as a prophetic utterance of what would happen to them when they turned away from Him.

Deu 31:19-20
(19)  Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.
(20)  For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.

Many would interpret this as a carrot and a stick law but that is not so. We learned from the teaching of the prophet that one special attribute or characteristics of God is that He is a Just God, a fair judge of all and an ocean of pure Love. Justice tempered with love so when the people transgressed, the consequences came into effect but the gentle hand of Jehovah will guide the children back. So we fast forward this history to the time of King David and when he disobeyed God's law, the nation of Israel started to disintegrate after the great dominion of Solomon who won nations without even fighting a war. Israel then became two people, two opposing nations, one ruled by Jeroboam and the other the sons of Solomon until the day of their captivity to Babylon, fourteen generations after King David.

God left us a blueprint for events to be made current by the laws and statutes given to the Jews. Nothing from this is more clearer than the institution of the religious feasts and festivals of the Hebrew race. There were the feast of first fruits, seven days feast of unleavened bread, the harvesting seasons, the former and latter rain, Pentecost, the fiftieth year jubilee, day of atonement, the feast of trumpets and the living of booths or tents (tabernacles) a reminder of their sojourning in the Wilderness for forty years because of their unbelief.. Even the feast of Purim which is not a Levitical order but introduced when the Jews escape the great proposed elimination, or ethnic cleaning by Haman, the enemy of the Jews at the time of Queen Esther and Mordecai, which deliverance was most significantly memorable when Haman and his family members were hung on the very gallows he planned for Mordecai (see first picture of the Jewish calendar).

Of this short asylum of the Jews as captives in Babylon and then Medo Persia within 70 years before the fulfillment of Jeremiah's prophesy that Daniel, a man beloved of God prayed fervently till the Angel Gabriel came to explain to him the future events all the way till Shiloh come.... as recorded in the book of Daniel , the Ancient of Days coming with His saints which was also recorded in John's book of Revelation chapter 19. We are constantly reminded that by the mouth of two or three witnesses, let everything be established. Hence we know by the Word for the Word alone is truth, when there are two verses of the same.

Dan 9:21-24
(21)  Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
(22)  And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
(23)  At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
(24)  Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Even though much has been revealed to the prophet Daniel at those times, there were yet unfinished mysteries which Daniel wanted to know because he was concerned for his own people being already nearly 84 years old. He saw the Ancient of Days.

Dan 7:9-10
(9)  I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
(10)  A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

The books were opened! What are these books? Countless theologians and great servants of God wanted to know and delve into these myteries not knowing that the Word of the Lord comes only to His prophets as He hath declared. Thus Peter wrote in his epistle with these words, that "Yea I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you IN REMEMBRANCE;

Ever since the sacking of the great city Jerusalem by the Romans in AD 70 and the many attempts to recapture the most holy place in the world, by the Crusaders from the marauding Turks and eventually of the Ottoman Empire or Caliphates. Valiant and  gallant soldiers died in those heroic crusades but because of some religious pride by a few self inflated egos who think they should be the true ruler of the world rather than wait for the Return of the Lord Jesus. Did not Jesus foretold of this in the parable of the husbandman who murdered the Son to inherit the land? And now that He was killed on the Cross, is there a faithful and wise servant who shall be made ruler over his household? Not until He returns.

But what do we see on earth now? Man making themselves to be important even to the extent of forgiving sins trying to be like God. Sin is forgiven only by the washing of the water of the blood and this power has not been transferred to any man, or by sprinkling of "holy water". A few such men even wanted to declare Jerusalem as their headquarters for their religious orders and spoke of the brave new world order then...The media is inundated with talks of the illuminati and the Jews are blamed for trying to secretly control the world, when in fact, Satan already has established his seat on earth since the beginning of the first organized religious order. Today, this phrase "the new world order" is the same ancient echo of the many failed attempts to be enthroned in Jerusalem to be the sole inheritor of the seat of Saint Peter but not of our Lord Jesus Christ. You see, not many people know that for any "new world order" to be established, the conquest and control of Jerusalem must precede it. Only then, can the Antichrist claimed rulership over mankind in that throne.

They forgot that Jesus was the One who said All power on Earth and in Heaven is given unto me, Mathew 28:18. It is not about Peter who went to minister in his preferred church in Babylon and never did set his feet in Rome. The one apostle that stayed in Rome and was willing to die there was Paul who was beheaded by the mad Emperor Nero.

2Pe 1:13-21
(13)  Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
(14)  Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
(15)  Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
(16)  For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
(17)  For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
(18)  And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
(19)  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
(20)  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
(21)  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Peter therefore explicitly and clearly reminded us of the need for patience to understand such things of spiritual significance till there come forth a prophet, a reveler of truth. It is no small design than that the seven angels came to give this commission to Brother Branham when he was instructed to go West to wait for that commission for the Sun rises in the East and Sets in the West, so must this gospel travel from the East to the nether West Coast of the USA. Thus commissioned, he was told to go back East to his own tabernacle to preach the mysterieious seven thunders and seals which most of it were forbidden to be written until the time of the end.

After the dessicration of the temple and the setting up of the abomination which maketh desolation in the Holy Mount. The last chapter of Daniel, recorded this admonition to wait for the true unfolding of the sealed mystery.

Dan 12:8-13
(8)  And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
(9)  And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
(10)  Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
(11)  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
(12)  Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
(13)  But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

(Editor's note: as you can see, the unfolding of the activities of the Israelites reflect God's characteristics in dealing with mankind and further study will reveal future events yet to be made manifested. We shall continue on this with more scriptures and recorded events until the times of the Gentiles are fufulled and God turns back to dealing with the Jews....). We go where noone has gone before except the one who has been given that task, the seventh angel messenger of Rev 10: 7.  Please fasten your seat belts....
