And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

A Paradox

In the US today, the date is written as 3.14.15 rather than our conventional English way of 14.3.15.

So the US method of writing denotes the value of Pi, and it occurs once in a century if you take the value of 3.1415926 or 14th March 2015 at 9:26 am. The Americans termed 3.14 as Pi day. Not Pie day but the value of Pi. Shocking!

Why has no one found the exact decimal end point for this value? It had already been worked into a trillion...?? The answer is really very simple because there is no such thing as a single line without width,  depth or volume. One can only go into an imaginary value of a thinnest of line so as to come up with the closest value but take it from me, there remains no answer because if you stretch your imagination a little, that little thin line you try to use is viewed upon as a size of a bicycle wheel, with an outer and inner diameter, a thickness of the rim. In effect we have more than one circles....hence the infinite Pi and the imaginary mathematics of Euler's function trying to reconcile this back to a round circle becomes impossible once the value of Pi is used in the power-th value of x. Anything that returns a value for an arc which is part of a circle has to include Pi into its calculation. And only God has that quality of Eternity. There is no beginning and no ending with God. In Him, we stepped into the sublime.

Now consider this "Quote of the Day" taken from the home page of the Voice of God Recordings, www.branham.org.

A Paradox 62-0128A

Jesus, when He was here on earth, He walked on the water. Explain that to me. Scientifically tell me how a man can walk on water: paradox. One day He took five biscuits and two fish and fed five thousand. What kind of a atom did He turn loose? Now, that wasn't even fish alive. When He broke that bread, broke it off of a piece of biscuit... When He handed it out, time He got his hand back again, there was another biscuit there, already raised, the wheat in the field, already cooked, all the grease in it (See?), seasoned. Here was a piece of fish, He broke it off, and another piece of cooked fish. Amen. Hallelujah.
That elem
ent is given to us, if we'll just abide in the Word. Stay there. I believe we're on the verge of seeing it happen. Live true to the Word.

A.PARADOX_  CHICAGO.IL  V-21 N-3  THURSDAY_  63-0801
101      It was a paradox, when a carpenter's son, by the name of Jesus of Nazareth, took up five little biscuits and two fish, and fed five thousand people. If it isn't, I want to see somebody do it today. I want you to explain to me what kind of an atom He let loose. What did He do? Not only the fish, but the fish was growed, the fish was scaled, the fish was cleaned, the fish was cooked, the fish was whatever it was, and the bread was planted and growed; and all of it by-passed, and God turned it from--from cooked fish to cooked fish. He just growed it out and He broke it off, and He growed it out and He broke it off, and He growed it out till He fed five thousand. Amen.
102    What does that r
outine mean: break it off, grow it out; break it off, grow it out; feed, grow it out? That means He is the same yesterday, today, forever. He is the same God that was. He is still the Bread of Life to any man that's hungering and thirsting. You can't exhaust His goodness.

God parted the water in the Red Sea to allow Moses to bring the Hebrews across on dry grounds. Not only that, it was a path that was flat enough for the wagons and beasts to travel through. God stopped the Sun and the Moon for Joshua to finish the battle against their enemies, the Amalekites who came out for war and not peace. Elisha retrieved the axe head that fell in the river. The metal head floated. There are much more such paradoxes but what or how the false intellectuals of the world wanted to avoid these issues of unknown, unexplainable  but seen and recorded miracles, a Paradox!

What is a Paradox? According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, a Paradox is a statement (or something) that is seemingly contradictory or opposed to common sense and yet is perhaps true.It is not just statements that can be paradoxical, but miracles as well. Like the parting of the Red Sea during the time of Moses. In other words, a Paradox is incredible but true.

Scientist will tell us that it is impossible for the Sun to stop as they claimed it is stationary. We know what we see is the shadow of the Sun as Light is refracted when it enters into the denser earth atmosphere like a fish watching over the surface of the water. But of course, God stopped the Earth in its rotation on its own axis, A great Paradox because the Moon also stood still at the valley of Ajalon.

Psa 77:1-20
(1)  I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.
(2)  In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.
(3)  I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.
(4)  Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
(5)  I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
(6)  I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.
(7)  Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
(8)  Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?
(9)  Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
(10)  And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.
(11)  I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
(12)  I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.
(13)  Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
(14)  Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.
(15)  Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
(16)  The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
(17)  The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.
(18)  The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
(19)  Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.
(20)  Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

You see the deliverance of the Hebrews just by one single prophet of God, Moses who disowned the rulership of the mightiest  nation and superpower at that time, Egypt to become a wanderer, a pilgrim like his fathers before him, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. As the next successor to that throne Moses could have all he wanted, power, fame, untold wealth,  wives and concubines but he gave it all up for what? To be a slave not only to Egypt but to his own people, as a deliverer for them out of their bondage. What was in him to do that? It was Faith in his own God, Elohim, El Shaddai, Jehovah! When I heard how Brother Branham described the confrontation between the Princess, the adopted mother of Moses, and Moses natural mother. The princess out of love towards Moses knowing the consequences of denouncing the throne to let his evil cousin take over as Pharaoh was suicide indeed. She asked his mother, Jochebed the wife of Amram, descendant of Levi, the son of Jacob. "I can give him the whole kingdom of Egypt, power and wealth and safety", "what can  you give him?". Jochebed replied, "I give him life"!.

It took me many years before I realised the "life" mentioned by her was not merely existence life, but Eternal Life. Moses though he died before entering the land of Canaan, was found more than 1,500 years later with Christ and Elijah at Mount Transfiguration.

And together with Elijah, he will be the one of the two prominent prophets who will deliver the Jews during the period of the oncoming tribulation, when the Antichrist will kill more of the true believers. They will be the ones who will not be afraid to die for their faith! We know that when the fifth seal of Revelation 6 was opened in the preaching of the Seven Seals in Branham Tabernacle, on March 22nd 1963.

Rev 6:9-11
(9)  And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
(10)  And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
(11)  And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

It was revealed to us those souls under the altar were not the Christians who died under the Romans, but these were the Jews who died during the Holocaust. Six million of them all under the altar crying for their Lord to judge and avenge their blood. Christians will forgive like their Lord when He hung on the Christ who said, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing" and like the first Christian martyr, Stephen, one of the early Deacons of the church, who said in Acts 7. "Lord, lay not this sin to their charge:!

Likewise Moses bore the burdens of his people esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt.

Heb 11:23-29
(23)  By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
(24)  By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
(25)  Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
(26)  Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
(27)  By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
(28)  Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
(29)  By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

Moses saw and spoke to God and that changed him forever. Another remarkable characteristic of Moses was that even though the Hebrew children were delivered by his faith, they murmured against him along the way to the promise land, and God wanted to destroy all of them and make new believers who would listen to the Word of God, but Moses stood in the gap, or stood in the bridge and convinced God to change His mind. Now who can do that? Gave God a better idea. Brother Branham said he wondered about that too until he found out that it was Christ in Moses. Christ was the Saviour and until the full penalty was paid, all were accepted in God's sight unless if they reject the only way of Salvation through Christ. This rejection will result in death, which means separation from God because only God is Life. He is the very Fountain of Life. No one dies in His presence. In the New Testament, Christ gave life back to the dead. There were a) Jairus daughter, b) the only son of a poor widow [Luke 7:12] and c) Lazarus who had died for four days already. Even Martha said, Lord, by now he stinketh! Now were'nt these all paradoxes?  All revived on His commandment alone. When He walked in Israel, there were no records of a dead person in His presence in that 3 1/2 years of His ministry.

You may ask Christ was not born in Moses time, so how could Christ be in Moses? It is a paradox, the statement seemingly contradictory, but is true. Read verse 26 above, "Esteeming the reproach of Christ". Who was there with Moses? Christ!. So who is Christ? The same Being he met in the burning bush, not that the bush was burning, but there was the Pillar of Fire speaking from the bush, the Angel of the Lord.

Act 7:30-32
(30)  And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina
an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
(31)  When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,
(32)  Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

This flame of fire was the same Pillar of Fire, Paul saw on the road to Damascus. Who "the voice" from the Pillar of Fire said He was? Paul asked who are you Lord? Note that pious scholar Paul who studied under the great teacher Gamaliel would not simply call anything his Lord, because that would be blasphemous to an authentic and pious Jew). Paul like Moses must have the greatest flashback when the Voice answered, "I am Jesus whom thou persecutest"!

That Pillar of Fire was the Angel of the Lord, an angel meaning the portrayed image or projected image of God when He meets with His prophets! He said I am Jesus Christ!  Look and live, my precious brother, my precious sister. Do not turn Him away/

Amen and may you find peace and grace in Him, our Lord Jesus Christ.
